If you have more than one iMovie library open, click the Library pop-up menu and choose the library where you want the trailer to reside. To preview a trailer template, move the pointer over the template and click the Play button that appears. The duration of the trailer and the number of cast members appear below the template. Look for a template that matches the number of people in your footage.
Trailer projects, on the other hand, have set durations, transitions, and soundtracks. Afterward, you can alter the text in the end credits or create a new soundtrack for your trailer.

If you change your mind about a clip you've chosen for a placeholder, you can delete it or drag another video clip or photo to the same placeholder.
